hint.....have a chat with each sproting body: karting , dex, rally..
just might work

While I agree with you about communication, maybe some of other groups who are attempting to remove TTASA as the NSO did not send their schedule to TTASA, and TTASA as the NSO might (don't know) have said, if they didn't send their schedule, then those are open days, ent?
Communication from ALL parties is the key.

Did TTASA enquire from the other bodies on thier schedules??

it works both ways professor

the roadway leading to the inner airfield area remained restricted until everything was cleared....that's point 1
I am not starting a discussion here or getting into a fight-down, but
OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF PPL LOOK UP TO THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOUR...LOOK AT THE 'DRAG SCHEDULES' FOR 'THE CROSS', REFORM, UP EAST & I'M HEARING WALLERFIELD.......& the crowds attending.......

Clive with all due respect Nizam has the event dates for all the clubs. I spoke to him a month ago at Camden whilst he was planning the event. We spoke about it being a karting date and he said the clash could not be avoided. There are only so many weekends in the year so I guess sometimes there will be clashes, no problem.

The main reason we try to avoid it is for the drivers/ spectators. I would have come to your event but I was at Karting with my son.

But for some reason unknown to me it seems that link takes everything to another level. Please link don't reply to my post and try to make some witty comment, it gets you nowhere.

BTW glad to hear that your event was a success and you did not have any major incidents.

if u guys maintain a confrontational approach to TTASA , then that's all you will get in response.........rein in YOUR cohorts........it takes more that one person to debate a point...

As most of you was there knows, we had a car leave the track, normally, when something like that happens, a large group of spectators would run to the site and make matters worse, giving the paramedics more challanges with all the distractions, comments etc.
Sting's antics was used as a contingency plan to keep the spectators attention away from the incident.
While at first glance it might have appeared as wildness, it worked as planned.
The injured driver was evacuated professionaly and is resting at home, no broken bones or major discomfort.
Thanks to all who attended, they were well behaved.

I think events like this should be carded more often.

1. Cheap to prepare for
2. An opportunity to get hands on tuition and a little experience in a controlled environment
3. Gives the street car guys somn to keep them off the streets
4. An opportunity to meet with racers (friends) from across the country and...
5. Lime nah, wha else!
