Link,
We just happen to share a lot of the same spectator pool. In case you weren't able to follow the previous posts let me break it down for you. The clashing of events splits more than the spectators, what about the pit crews, the tuners, mechanics that just happen to be responsible for rally and drags. Unless TTASA has invented a way to be in the two different places at the same time the clashing of events makes it very difficult for some teams. Not to mention wasn't there a meet last week? Where was the communication between TTASA and TTRC? The TTRC event was carded and advertised way in advance of TTASA's release of their event. So my friend yet again you have lost this argument. Guess were all just simple a/hles right? |

As a person involved about motorsport, I care about ttasa as much as they care for the other sporting bodies.
Link, honestly, I think is time yuh hang yuhself with the ttasa rope so we could all get a rest from yuh blocking of this group of HASBEENS.

^^ when did Omar do a 12.5? also I think chester did a 11.0 / misha did a 9.0 (I think) I think AAron did a 9.92 and backed it up with a 9.91 / and stephen did a 10.7.. those are what I heard..
BTW this event was a rel mess... all the brackets & e.t passes doin together .. so the lanes are fillled with cars and hardly runs..
they looked for the overcrowding return lane issue.. ( sell more bands to ppl to come in the pit) every flicking thing is money money money..
I moved my car to get in lane and before I could get out a man with a car ( NOTHING DRAG RELATED) ready to rush where I was parked..
so was it the butcher who ran over the sensor? or was it the COW? I coulda swear it was him..
Frankie drag does be way way better organized... ( pits & running of events)
I guess only time will tell if we still have a track..... who don't know what I talking about all I hadda say is it was something about the Left lane |

Great Job to Arron and his tuners
Frankie Drags was better organized... Even though Autosport was running the brackets, they were in a mess.

Couldn't have put it in any greater words myself...
I don't have any future plans to race with TTASA anymore until they have a more organized event....
Frankie events are really the best organized...thus far... |

| Robie, ain't it ironic? The same companion whos on the media with you and others BASHING TTASA (not that they don't deserve it) was the one running the TTASA event on the same day as the TTRC event. Just goes to show that nobody is loyal to anything but themself. |

| Robert, I fully agree with you. TTASA should have never put their date to clash with TTRC or any other motor sport discipline for that matter. But they have a bunch of jokers on their management right now who have been put in office unconstitutionally, but say what, they like it so. |

This is the opinion of a very small-minded, stuck in the past individual who cannot see the bigger picture of working together for a better tomorrow.
And where were you? Doing what to build? Grow up little boy.
Now taking the common statement of existing for 40 years, doing all the great things to demand and command that everyone fall into line and be part of this great organization, why was it necessary to request “the one running the TTASA event” to run the TTASA event? Did you not also see who were the others involved in running this event?
Try to see the critical comments being made by everyone to change the tunnel-visioned position that is embossed in those who refuse to be part of the new thinking. Try to understand the feelings of those who have been keeping to their published schedule.
And for those who have negatively commented on the running of the event, they do not realize that there must be discipline in every aspect of a successful event. They cannot expect to cruise in when they feel like and expect to be included in a competition that has already started.
Bad habits and poor discipline inculcated in the past must be changed. |

and to add to that .. its amazing that the following schedule (shown below) is what was supposed to be followed, however, when it was time for the briefing meeting ... 10 Drivers were present .... At 8'o clock, Cars & Drivers were now waltzing in to be scrutineered and then bulldozing their way onto the grid to get ET passes ..... and then coming up to the control tent to make noise as to why they are not in competition !
But anyway, with regards to competition, all brackets were completed with the exception of the 12 secs bracket due to Madcow damaging the sensors to the end of the track !
| Quote: |
Scrutineering - 1 - 4pm (5 points)
On the grid briefing meeting - 4 - 4:30pm (5 points)
Bracketing of cars - 4:30 - 6:30pm
Competition - 7 - 9:30pm
Intermission - 9:30 - 10 pm
Competition - 10 - 12 am
Grudge matches - 12 - 1 am

Link lies again… “I was of the opinion that this was a job being done by a promotions company”
Link you continue to be so bloody consistent in the misinformation that you post here, and for which you are now infamous. Why do you not answer all the questions previously asked instead of being totally misguided.
And I wish that SUN219 would clearly indicate what was said in the media that he considers TTASA bashing – could lend you the tape to refresh your brain. And go get the facts and find out who was also invited to be part of that program.
Some say it is hopeless trying to change the thinking of you guys, but I believe in miracles, we might not be able to change your thinking, so we will just have to change the whole you! |

A couple replies then i think i am done trying to defend a simple suggestion that there should have been better and more communication on TTASA's part to the TTRC. If that is misunderstood as 'bashing' then i think i need to start handing english lessons to a few people on this forum.
SUN219 - TTASA was invited to the same TV program but opted not to attend as it was very soon after the management elections. Fair enough. The program was intended to discuss the present state of motorsport and that is pretty much what it was. The simple fact remains is that there is no permanent facility for drag racing, no circuit track, a car park for a kart and solodex track, and farmers/other industry continually being allocated lands that we used to rally on. Say it how you want motorsport is in a bad state. So however you choose to look at it, the various groups and clubs are going to do whatever they can to continue to function (i.e Preysal for Rally / ARC for Karting and Solodex). Again - the sole purpose of the TV program was to discuss the present state - there was no bashing.
As for Autosport being part of TTASA's event. If i am not mistaken i think Autosport was hired by TTASA not the other way around. TTASA gave them the date as far as i know. And you talk of loyalty - Autosport assisted with the bleachers for the TTRC event. If they ended up managing another event (something we do on our own) then who am i to say otherwise. Guess using your argument we should be vex with the snowcone man and the curry duck man as well if they attend any other Motorsport event on one of our race days.
Folks there are only 40 odd weekends that you can realistically run events giving xmas, carnival, public holidays etc etc. There will obviously be clashing, but with a little communication it can be managed a lot better. |
