Like you want to get ban, admitting you had fun at a TTASA event is a no no on Trinituner. You only supposed to gripe and cry down the thing, even if you didn't go and you hear it from you padner who didn't go either. Watch your back !!!

Clive for a big man that is not a mature response. People would come to compete and spectate all forms of motorsport it just needs to be properly planned and organised. The small talk on tuner is just that and most of the time needs to be ignored.
I guess reputation is a hell of a thing, in order to change ones image one needs to go out of ones way to do things correctly which does not seem to be the case.

I might also have come and enjoyed myself had i been informed in advance. How about this when is your next event, maybe we can help to promote it from now.

I got the ole 'send a voicemail without calling' trick so I didn't get to ask any questions. I guess I should be grateful I even got a call ?

Got a call on the Saturday morning... I was told to contact a TTASA... no number, no name, just a mysterious message advising of a time attack on Sunday in Mosquito Creek. I thought it was a kidnapping setup Laughing

It's a shame... I'm in full support of any mospo event regardless of organiser. I would've really liked to attend this one even though I was all but kicked out of the last event I drove...after paying for everything and getting scrutineered. I guess if you don't appear to be any kind of threat, then you get treated like a 2nd class citizen ? Neutral

Link I not getting in to any stupid talk with you as you are one of those persons to ignore on tuner. However I must say you are so stupid it’s not funny, imagine I am offering to help you promote your event and that is the dotish answer to my post that you come up with.
If that is how you want it no problem sit there in your own little world and think you are helping motorsport.

how is it all these "published" schedules are only actually approved the friday b4 the event

how can one propelry plan to attend when actual notification is sent via village PA system on the saturday evening like a death announcement

and if there is a "published schedule" why even bother to come on trinituner to make last minute announcements then edit the post

maybe your choice of publishing has no readers

You know I dont have no beef with nobody and no club about nutten. I just love motor racing and want to race and have a lil fun.

So I will go wherever there is racing, and I can participate. It dont matter who or where, in fact I was talking to a friend of mine ( a racing driver ) about starting a whole new club just because nobody seemed interested in presenting different opportunities for guys like me. But it makes no sense re-inventing the wheel.

Clive told me about this Bellevue venue more than a year ago, since there was the event at the stadium. I visited the site and took some photos and tried to get the club interested in running a hillclimb/time attack kind of event. Nobody was interested. I posted several threads here about doing a hillclimb event, but still nobody was interested.

Now finally !!! Somebody decided to take up the challenge and start the damn thing, GREAT !!! So guess what? I will go wherever there is racing.
So while everybody bitching and quarreling I will just go enjoy myself and have fun and hope that some day the racing gods will smile on us and by a miracle, we have our own racetrack again. Regardless of who runs it.
But in the mean time, my hope was to see a hillclimb/time attack championship series being run locally at probably about 5 or 6 different locations. Anybody who shares this vision will have my full support and participation.

Im now holding my breath to see what will happen in 2010.

You and I are in the same boat. Even if I don't like how things are run... I WANT TO RACE and will support just about anyone that is putting on an event. But you cannot expect to have a championship or series without having approved, reliable, repeatable venues.

Yep you're right, I agree. But it doesnt mean it cannot be done. Theyve already run 3 venues and I can think of another. Just have to come up with a time table, and at the beginning of the year get approval for all these venues on those dates.

Fellas, i for one, love the idea of these new type of events that TTASA is getting in involved in now, and i will personnaly support these events in way i can... The Hillclimb was great, i had a blast.. I HEARD there was some sort of organizational problems with the last event, and I won't comment on that because i was not there, but i also beleive with geniune support, for the SPORT , whether it be behind the scene or actuall support on the day, will make these events better, for all interested parties..

I need to say this though.. Whether it is TTRC, TTASA, CARS, TTKA, or whoever is involved in any form of Motorsport, the Sport itslef is bigger than all of us, and with this being said, We all need to Prioritise our reasons for our involvement, which i'm sure is not to bash any club, member or the event...

As djaggs said, we just want to race....
