Soooo, I took down my slave cylinder at 6am on the road in Valsayn in front my Gfs house, scrapped it down and found the seal torn. Had to drop her to work and use her car. I went by Faiz (closest place after dropping her off) and got the seal there with no prob. I bought 5 extra (they were $6 each). Got it back to the car, cleaned up the cylinder, bleed back the clutch system and car was back to normal. Now im gonna look for the kit for the Master cylinder.

Any suggestions?

a front cut (complete) at cheapest is 20k if u lucky... price range 20k-30k depending on where u go... i was told that D & D has a front cut presently, more than likely their price will be around the cheapest from what i've seen around

So, now try starting she up and she did not have anything to offer. So, engine swap and I am going to take my time (2-3yrs) and rebuild the original engine up to push maybe 600hp. Well will try.

U could get some forged internals from a 8 or 9 and put it in.

http://forums.trinituner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=247840&highlight=

Dunno if they still available. I think these were from a HKS time attack evo.

I will be doing the same with the current engine but in a timely manner.

update on my side, i drained all the fluid from the clutch MC and flushed it out then bled it and took it for a test run, seems to be working wayyy better but still a lil iffy sometimes, wayyy better than b4 tho, will keep an eye on the fluid to see if it goes black again quickly. once i get the time, i will be changing all my oils sooooon, going with amsoil as recommended by many, including W2J

janfar, well so far, fluid still good. i realise when i now start the car tho and now start to drive, the gears go in smooooth but after about a 10mins of some driving, my 3rd gear goes in a lil crunchy.....gearbox oil need changing? when the oil gets hot it gets thin since its worn out? if it was the syncro for 3rd, would it not be giving the same crunchy shift even when the car now starts to drive?

Hmmm, when the oil gets hot it would begin to loose some of its viscous properties. Wonder if thats the problem. Also wonder if you would get the same prob with the Amsoil. I remember reading on the 321 forums that they used a Molyslip lube together with the oil to keep the synchros well lubed.

Some input from W2J and sanctifier would be nice right about now.

janfar,i know w2j recommends amsoil, he uses it on his ride also but dunno if "due to age and wear and tear" my situation might need "extra" attention/help?

i guess ill have to give the amsoil a try. but would it be the syncros if it doesnt grind while the car is "cold" ? or if is syncros it will always grind, no matter hot or cold.

the operating range would be sufficent but not very many oils would be a cure in a bottle for good ole mechanical repairs

btw row, what oil weight u gonna use?

Dave, really not an expert on GB oils, right now im running belray in it tho, grade recommended by mechanic. gonna give the amsoil recommended by gerard a try when i get the time to change all.

im just thinkin its a oil prob since the gears shift flawless while the car is cold but when it gets a lil heated, it starts givin a lil grind when going into third.
