anyone knows what shop sells vigo oil filters?

just crossing 4000K and van is due for its first oil change soon.

The entire manual is in thailand-anese... does the local fortuner come with the 3.0td? the service intervals should be identical right?

Yes it does. Both the service schedule for the 3.0 Vigo and Fortuner and New Prado should be the same. I believe it's the same engine 1kD-FTV. They all use common rail tech.

Did you try using the regular filter (SAKURA) for the Prado? That might just work. What mileage are you doing between oil change?

Dude check your email....Please note the mileage difference in the oil change for the 1kz-te and the 1kd-ftv.

If you go with the + 10 k km oil change, I suggest you go with the original oil filter.

Good luck.

Cool thing... I stand corrected... the fortuner is also available in gas. I was thinking that who would go for that in gas and then I remembered how many hilux(s) with gas engines are on the road.

I'll go check the papers to see the new Mazdas BT50.

The only other new model pickup outstanding is the Nissan Frontier....The existing model did really good.

I haven't see too much people talk about the Isuzu pickups here. Besides being noisy, they look like good workhorses.

ok test drive just over ... Very Happy BT50 is coming with the same chassis and engine i.e. 2500 turbo, manual only... the tires are now 16" but 245 as opposed to 265 previously...
Other than that interior is entirely redone and it now comes with mp3... stock comes with no fogs.
it cost 183kand change, that’s for the highest grade model the other model (difference is only no air bags) cost a little less.
The comfort and drive is about the same better view through with bigger mirrors…

I'm a kind of old fashion guy and I'm not sure if I'm liking this new generation of 4x4s. Maybe I need to get with it.

Being a Toyota fan I would think long and hard before I invest in anything else but this new generation (IMVs/Vigos) haven't really taken my blood. Part of the reason is because it's not manufactured in Japan and part of a cost cutting project of which we're yet to benefit from.

My favourite these days are the new Frontiers that haven't arrived yet. The Sportero alright too. However my SR5 have some ways to go again before I change to something else.

Yeah... at the AMCO warehouse. I recently had a real heavy duty looking Ford pickup. Wasn't sure if it was the F150.

Any of the guys here driving the an auto pickup? Drove one recently and realized it'll take some getting use to.

I'm on some sickleave and have started read this thread from the beginning. I've reached page 10.... gonna continue reading some more.
