I drove one of those b13 with the diesel engine... wasn't bad at all. Wish we could more cars with diesel engines.

I've noticed two of the Korean compact SUVs, the Tuscon and Sportage now coming with turbo diesels. I wonder why the other Japanese local dealership haven't brought in their passenger vehicles with diesels yet. They're available with diesel in other areas in the world

Dragsta, from what I've seen the kill switch is usually hooked up to the fuel pump.

323_Wagon_Dude... I can relate to what you're saying above. I've been eyeing the SR5 since 2002 when they first came out.... then I got one eventually. Anyway the lifespan of a well maintained Hilux is more than 15 years so you have more than enough time to decide what you'll get next.

Forget the Hummer.... the Prado might be more practical Hummer. Besides, I'm not sure if they're available if diesel.

Freak...Did TTTL say why they wouldn't bring them? I wonder why we don't have more passenger diesel vehicles.

Diesel Ravs are sold in the UK and austrailian market.

TTTL can bring it if they wanted to...but they generally wont take on one or two people with their wants. Take the automatic hilux for instance... and the 3.0 hilux as well... When the new model came out, they told me they only bringing the 2.5. After they got lots of requests for the 3.0l then they started to bring it.

323_wagon_dude, good to know. I think a diesel RAV4 will dominant that market. I would consider one!
