good suggestion but i would recomend the pager alarm system for one personal reason.
it gives me a sence of peace. knowing i can monitor my vehicle while doing what ever.
the system i got has a 1 mile range. if someone breaks into my car i wanna know whats going on so i can respond. a normal alarm you will have to return to your car to notice everything is missing. people don't take on alarms these days. so at least if my door is opened i know and i can run back to ward them off. not to mention i am installing a siren inside the vehicle so it is extremely annoying to who ever trying to theif what ever inside. and i wanna put a bright ass strobe to disorrient them. |

Fellas glad to hear security is on our minds. But we must understand that all these devices does not stop theft, it just slows them down.
Multilock can be scrapped
Alarms and Kill Switches can be bypassed even if it's a pager alarm.
Clubs ... the steering wheel can be cut.
They'll eventually get around the gps and shutdown devices. Nothing really stops them...
323_Wagon Good idea....talk to the vendors and see if they'll offer a multilock alarm group discount
I'm considering car search since I like the idea of search and retrieve. |

Wagon_R is right. These aren't very practical for our everyday use.... these trucks and they're literally trucks are usually a 2nd or 3rd vehicle and they're workhorses.
Look at the specs and the price of the Tundra.... even if that came down it would be too expensive and wayyy to thirsty. The cheapest gas there is US$3.00 per gallon. There are diesel pickups but they're not as popular as down here because the price difference per gallon of diesel and gas ain't much different.
I rented a Kia Sportage (compact SUV) and it came with a V6 174hp engine, it worked well, (suspension not too hot) but damn it drink gas too.
The Ford and Toyota were popular, I saw very few Mazda, Mitusubishi and Nissan, I even say a couple of really old hilux (TAY series). The Mitsubishi pickup I saw was in the showroom. I've got a nice pic of an Evo but don't want too post it here cause I might get buff. |

Sunday i had my timing belt and fuel pump belt changed along with the crank shaft seals........i felt like i duck a bullet yes, the belts looked hazed and had some tear......it's a relaxing and peace of mind thing to know that your ride is working great and you done all that you can to ensure that.........i feel like a weight has been lifted, next step is the shocks!...........milage is still great, can't understand why people will waste there money on gas........guess it's a sign of maturity to choose DIESEL |
