| once i installed it from cydia and rebooted i changed my auto lock settings to never because sometimes it takes a while. Start up with the sim in the iphone then after about 2 mins take it out and put it back in, should be working now |

Fok that, I wasn't upgrading.
The unlock software is very premature..... Looks like the kunts gave themselves a deadline a few weeks too early. |

It did not unlock.
Do you have a wifi ap? if so i can probably guide you through the manual process.

Well they did say that it is a Beta release.
It's working perfectly for some people and a great achievement for the 3G platform. I don't think you should be calling the people that are giving you a free unlock, "kunts", unless ya can do better?

Honestly? No, he doesn't fail, because it's true. It takes a 3rd party application to make the iphone multi-task, which in turn makes it even more unstable than it already is. So really, the only thing failing are the apps on the iphone. |

Yeah it really isn't for everyone. I Agree that if you don't know how to use the iphone and the unix osx operation system it can be unstable, but what's the sense in spamming the thread? Right now people need to address the 3g unlocking issues.

You're right, I don't know how to use the most retard-friendly phone to date.
Sorry, don't tarnish the Unix name by associating it with any consumer based Apple product. Especially the "Unix OSX operation system" (wtf?)
As far as addressing unlocking goes, this is a car forum last time i checked, not a phone forum...

A real phone shouldn't have unlocking issues because it is supposed to come unlocked out of the box.
All this is going to be rendered useless when apple updates their firmware in the next two weeks. |
