PLEASE BE ADVISED - EVENT POSTPONED

The drag racing event at Camden airfield carded for 16th December has been postponed to the 29th and 30th of December 2007 due to inclement weather.

Entries automatically go forward to this new date, however, if refunds are desired, please contact TTASA President Jameer Ali at 680-2058.

Test and Tune Official Announcement & Briefing Meeting

Please be advised that test and tune will be on the 16th December 2007 at the Camden Race Way [Not on 9th December as previously announced]. Briefing meeting will be held on the 11th December 2007. Location for this meeting will be advised by Thursday 6th December 2007.

Please note this is NOT an official competitions event nor is it a spectator's event. This event is for the racers to sort out their cars and their bracketing for the official competition drag racing events starting in January 2008. Limited crew will be allowed into the pit area. While we will try our best to put few things in place for any spectators wishing to view the test and tune, however, we are working towards having proper facilities come January.

We have hired a different security company. More police and more fire officers will be on hand.

Racers entry fee will be $100 plus $50 for FIA license
Racers are advised that if your bracket was run off completely at the last event, your standings will remain valid for the next prize giving. You will also be allowed to take part in the test and tune to get your car ready for the next official event.

Please call Jameer Ali 680-2058 for any further information.

Thank You

Jameer Ali
TTASA
President

Thanks for the response Jameer.
I might be wrong but I don't believe any brackets were completed on that day.

.

Does this mean if you ran in competition in August, you can run free of charge at this test and tune event?

No you will still have to pay

it just means that any competitions that ran that day will not be disregarded and so fastest 4 cylinder, winner 14sec brack etc (what ever was run off) were in fact recorded and will be honoured at the prize giving next year
