|

Hi all,
Team St. Lucia sent four cars to Antigua for the event and we have not been able to get them shipped back to St. Lucia due to problems beyond our control. The organizer will not answer our repeated calls or e-mails and there seems to be a combination of governmental red tape and unpaid fees for container rental etc., which is holding up the whole thing.
We are in a total quandary as to how to proceed and we are very concerned that the longer we wait the more it will cost us in the end.
I know that there are a number of Grenada and Trinidad cars still in Antigua and wonder how we can join forces to get our cars back. We have been totally mislead and this one debacle is going to set back this type of competition amongst the various islands that can put on this type of event.
We will certainly not take the chance of sending any cars overseas after this as we are already out of pocket thousands of dollars which we will never recoup.
If anyone has any information that they can share, we would be very happy to hear it and would be willing to get together to get our cars back.
Regards,
Chris Kessell |

The cars are still in Antigua and the two Trini organizers and the one Antiguan have disappeared cant reach by phone don't answer voice mails .
they have all the car docs so everything just sits in Antigua and rots.
I guess they made thier money and figure we can all get *ucked.

I think the silence on here is more telling than anything that might be posted, as far as I am concerned it is "guilty as charged".
What I don't understand is why none of the Trinidadian car owners are not ready to form a Posse and head up to Antigua to scalp someone to get their cars back! Maybe they are friends of the accused and are guilty by association...? |
