FINAL RESULTS HERE!!!
http://forums.trinituner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=2180275#2180275

The VK Super Special is being staged by the VK Rally Team that comprises Vishal Dhanraj and Kirk Pouchet, in conjunction with AutoSport Promotions Limited.

Total support has also been received to date, from TTASA, CARS, The T.T. Karting Association, TORMATT(motorcross) and the T.T. Rally Association.

Spectators: Adults $30 - $10 Kids
Gates open at 9am, competition starts at 10am till 6pm
Limited free parking inside.
Bar and Food will be on sale.

So after all of the excitement of our National Elections and the winners are now settling in, and we expect Trinis will get back to “one love” without delay, we now move on to even bigger things ahead, as the date draws close for The First ever Motor Racing Event in our Natonal Stadium.

A close look at the course layout will ease everyone’s concerns about cars NOT racing on our beloved artificial athletic track and the beautiful greenery of our football pitch. But they will be letting it all hang out on the paved perimeter just on the outside of the oval of the Stadium.

Who will be participating? Cars in Motor Sport disciplines of Circuit Racing, Rallying, Solodex, other racers grouped under ASPL Class and the Karters, who will be running in their own races. All of the other competitors will be running individually, against the clock in various classes, as they are accustomed to running in their respective disciplines.

The Event Time is from 10:00am to 6:00pm with each competitor having 4 runs around the course (2 laps). The winners will be determined by their best run in the respective class.

A Media and Briefing meeting for all Competitors and Marshalls will be held on Wednesday 7th November at the National Stadium. Entries will be processed at 7:00pm and the meeting formally starts at 8:00pm.

And we will be making every effort to run off a Champion of Champions shootout with the best two from each class competing for the title of Champion Driver of the Day.

Access to the Pit Area for Competitors will be through the normal entrance to the Stadium, and them move on South and then West to the South-western corner of the Stadium.

Spectators will be concentrated across by the Start location by the steps on the Western side and also that area immediately opposite to the Pit Location on the South–western side. There will be no crossing of the course at any point except that control area on the eastern side. Spectators will be restricted to the stadium first level/floor or that area where they enter and move around to the southern side by the Jean Pierre complex.

Some public parking will be allowed on the eastern end of the Stadium. Patrons who have to park outside and walk to the facility will purchase their tickets at the Carib Ticket Booth, then walk in and will be guided to a holding area. Here they will be crossed under the supervision of Our Security Personnel to immediately enter the Stadium and walk up to the first level/floor, then have TOTAL ACCESS TO THE ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE STADIUM where they can view any part of the course, UNDER COVER!

A Bar and Food concessions will be located on the Stadium first level/floor in that area immediately opposite to the Pit Location.
A second Bar and Food concessions will be located on the southern side car park by the Jean Pierre complex.

NO BOTTLES WILL BE ALLOWED.

Safety will be the most import consideration at this Event. Ambulances and Wreckers will be located on the Northern and Southern side of the course, together with our own rapid response safety vehicle. Police and Fire Services personnel will be in attendance.

At least eight groups of Course Marshalls will be stationed around the course with the each group within sight of their fellow marshall team, to the right or to the left. Marshalls wlll be equipped with Radios, Flags and Fire extinguishers.

Final list of entries

C - Circuit Racing car
R - Rally Car
S - Solodex Car
ASPL - AutoSport Promotions competitor

"looks like a figure 8... looks as though you do one at the start... and then one more at the end"

Competitors will run two laps, and finish as you started and then into a stop box, just like dex.

The Start will see you launching and possibly making a figure 8, OR a 180 at the far marker and back to a slalom before leaving the front by the steps.

This is still being fine-tuned together with the other chicanes, slaloms, elongated 360's to ensure that no one car has an advantage over the others.

Will be working on on-line registration to speed up this process for when we have the Drivers Briefing Meeting on Wednesday 7th Nov., most likely at the AV Room of the National Stadium.

Wagon r"....i have two weeks to beg..... " WHO? The wifey?

Have a request from some bikers ( the serious ones) to do a lil demo run.....

wagon r,
agree with the meant for
but part of the fun is making it perform its multifunctions better than some that were "designed" for it. Cool
