If you runnin OEM rubber bushings, DON'T use grease on them, you will jus ruin them.

So I decided to go with the energy suspension polyurethane bushing kit.
Thus far i have installed the complete front set at a certified mechanic (his bearing press broke down - so i waiting for him to fix it to install the rear bushings). But now - everytime i drive over a road wave or depression i getting this God awful sqeaking (in the front only!) - especially horrid over humps ! I believe the main culprit to be the tension rod bushings rubbing on the chasis - Has anyone had this experience with these bushings - and how did you stop the sqeaking ? - please help !

Its plenty grease thats needed. I did my install and lots of noise. Used the silicone spray and the noise goes away.

I got the red lower sway bar bushings and the red Cradle arm bushing set and I have never heard any kind of squeak. The last time they were greased was the same time I installed them and that's like a year now. But what I do know is there is a company manufacturing the same bushings and they are not energy suspension bushings yet the package states " Energy Suspension " on it. * Hint is each bushing kit packaged is supposed to carry a specific code that matches with the numbers on the bushings in the package you got. If it is not seen there then you know what you got. I was told this by some one at Energy Suspension when I called them enquiring on the kits they had a year ago. Neutral

Call us and ensure your money is well spent! I have seen these products, as i have advised clients about them in the past. Glad to know you did your own little research on the matter and can relate to the public as well....In addition we have installed hundreds of these kits at our garages and the squeaking issue has never been such a huge topic. Please call us to do your installation even if your kit is purchased elsewhere, we can accomodate all energy suspension customers.
regards

one thing to note with energy suspension bushings,
not all their bushings are the correct "height".
I've come across some of their control arm bushings that were too short and required shaving of the control arm for the lip to sit flush. Not fitting the bushing properly would lead to a lifespan of about 8 months Neutral Confused

You could also check other manufacturers. I rock the complete prothane bushing kit: suspension and engine.
Had no problems with install... just the car hit the road yet to test for squeeks Evil or Very Mad
