yeh tuners , can one use sq sounds to properly tune a gallery system and how effective are they in doing so ?

skellyuno, why not tune your music to what YOU listen to and what YOU think is best which satisfies your ears?

SR, i dont mean to spam but what do you recomend for a navara door? owner wants to get rid of the stock speakers (i dont kow why). besar in mind the stock head unit is goin to be used.

iasca test disc can effectively tune a "gallary" system as it will bring out all the faults with tonal accuracy
pink noise with an rta can be used to find all the "holes" in the system

If, as you stated, a gallery system, then a test disc should be sufficient...or as someone said, original playback recordings of your favourite music. If it is a live system, the approach would not be so simple.
