buy a audio control meter like 3055 i think its available for anyone to buy

or like sr said a linearx

but for the novice begginer or average user

the pc based is ok for you all

but cheap and free dont expect a greal deal of accuracy there !

its cheaper to rent the services of an rta to accuratly assist in tuning your vehicle or home system that buying one as once its set you prob wont need to use it for at least a year again to re tune


rta tuning services available by appointment

$150/hr

whey it gon up, term lab services cheaper lol

actually a term lab is like 650US or so, dats good enuff for rough numbers for the average joe imo...........

i think u guys missed the point of this thread though

i dont want to analyse/tune my system. i wanted a program that analyses the peak frequencies in songs preferrably in a graph representation ,dats y i asked for a spectrum analyser software. no mic needed.....
