never heard of them... i heard of the sr20de(silvertop) and the red top turbo sr20det !
but not a red top sr20de no siree!

i could be wrong tho.... anybody know of a red top sr20de?

yea there is a red top de i think its from the uk and has 10hp more than the normal japanese silver top de .

I think he is referring to the autech tuned sr20de, which comes in some spec-s silvia's and I think pulsars

Red valave cover,
10:1 flat top pistons,
no EGR,
head looks same to,
redline at 7500rpm,
150BHP
and it has sodium cooled exhaust valves
Very Happy

The Sr20De Red top was actually 15hp less than the silver top, came on the automatic motors and if revs taken past 5000 to often would normally result in the engine picking up a bearing knock. These motors were made in the UK and not in Japan. Be careful guys.

i agree with sr20-gp.....i thnk they came off the older primera gt p10...these are are highport intake. a fairly ooold sr20. buy a vvl and call it george!

the sodium filling is for cooling of the exhaust valves so in effect its sodium cooled or at least sodium enhanced cooling.

the engine is 10:1 compression unlike most of the others that are 9.5

it has diferent tuning in the brain it does have at least 10 more hp than the silver top de

it usualy comes stock with oem extractors

I have seen at least one that came with EGR.

the P10 UK GT came with it.

there two types of red cover none turbo .They are the uk model and the Japanese model as well .The sr20 is 165-170 hp stock .The ecu or brain box is made by bosch company in germany this the uk model ,it's is a remanufacture design engine .
