A manual SiR hatchback Civic?...... Laughing

I am on the lookout for one but now I am wondering if it better to get any EK hatch and start the long painful conversion process.

Anybody have one dat looking for a new owner?

look for an eg hatch and do the conversion if not already converted

suspension upgrades are cheaper
more widley available
and wider range of tunability on the suspension

Rudman it have a red eh hatch on the forum for sale only ting its automatic but u can just convert to manual, it already has a b16a and an energy suspension bushing kit installed, an apexi vafc ii, 15 gold rims etc. Might be easier to convert auto to manual than a whole engine conversion. Car looks fairly good though. price $34k ono

look for a ek hatch in good condition(no body or undercarriage damage) get a b18c engine & gearbox(use the b16a5 head with stage 2 cams, ctr pistons,a good brand cold air intake(aem) + headers(dc sports or jasma) ,2.5 free flowing exhaust. suspension & brake upgrades . you will have a great street car.

Had a look at a couple of hatches over the last week, most were automatic however.

How difficult is it to get a manual conversion for a honda these days?

That all depends on the budget you're working with. If it's mainly for Dex then I would have made sure the suspension in check. An Energy suspension kit(1400 from Positive Performance) and if you want shock and springs you can use the Tokico Illuminas(bout 5k). Think they are 5 way adjustable. You can check Adah or Racers Edge. If the I/H/E isn't done as yet that can be a good start. If later on you feeling adventurous you can either try a Hondata (take a ride in Kes car) or you can boost the D15 Very Happy
If the money allows you can do the B16 swap. about 14k for full conversion and about $2500 to do the swap. I think SR has a full conversion so you can check him.
