Isn't this also stretching the facts? And why there is such a credibility gap in all matters that TTASA is involved in, and continously try to pull wool over the intelligent people here.
Did not Mr. Boynes have a meeting with the Mins. of Agriculture last year, and everybody were pointed to check on the airstrips around the island, and finally Camden , and the rice project were suggested as possible locations. And it is the Ministry that arranged for Camden.
But even before this, the other joker rush in to the rice field and had people sweeping and brush cutting, and TTASA announcing they having an event in 6 weeks, in Mid July '07, in the swamp.
And now have to fight to try to keep Camden because of their lack of management controls, just like they let Waller field get out of their hand.
How about being honest for a change, then the drivers and others would also begin to show respect.

interesting statment maniac as TTASA hides behind the statement that thye are the NSO and governemnt will only laise/deal with the NSO
hence why other organisations cannot go directly to government as according to policy they have to go thru the NSO
now if the NSO is not properly representing the public at large then the question is
how does one go about changing the NSO as it seems that TTASA feels that they being the NSO is cast in stone |

After all this
TTASA were given specific guidelines to follow and to ensure that Camden was cleaned afterwards which they did not do.
We have lost there allowed to TTASA who is the governing body for motorsports.

New guidelines were issued in 2002 re : NSOs.........& these were sent to TTASA in order that the organisation be properly briefed........
I am not under the impression that at that point in 2002 that any organisation -INCLUDING TTASA- ceased to be an NSO.
..
YES, the statement was made at the meeting and I believe that the interpretation of the 'new' NSO document was incorrectly put across to the floor.......
but...
did motor racing & T&T NOT have OFFICIAL representation from 2002 to now ???
didn't many of you who are condemning TTASA now actually benefit from TTASA fulfilling it's role as a governing body & FIA ASN ???...isn't T&T officially represented on the NACAM board by a TTASA FIA ASN member???
