your usual song and dance around peoples questions to which even people within TTASA wish you would not post |
sr
even you cannot honestly say '40 years & nothing to show........'
because nobody acknowledges the natural developments over the years...only the percieved failures which are piled upon TTASA's doorstep
..
the saying that people have short memories holds true here as it does for general electioneering...........pave a road & people vote for you...but let an accident happen...it's because you did not install a stop sign at the intersection...
..
what the motorsport fraternity is faced with now is what guides all these sentiments posted.........and it's what the various elements use to fuel the 'fever' you see around...........
...
This situation must be resolved....everyone accepts that and, because T&T is a democratic country, we can all express our views on the issue. But, wether by diplomacy or military intervention....a solution must be ironed out because everyone of us has been hung out to dry ......
...
the rules & regs, the assurances & insurances are there........is the motor sports fraternity as a whole, able to put aside self-interest to achieve this turnaround ???
..

sori..but I disagree..........
if politics is divorced from motor sports, then the proven systems (worldwide) can be allowed to function & proper development will naturally progress.

| how i seeing it, it always have some talk about money during an event here. Worldwide is different than how the attitudes of people in our country is. I have yet to see every single person involved in motorsports get along. I have'nt seen it which is why there are different groups of people trying to get a race track, example TTASA, Autosport, TTDRA etc etc.... If everyone can get along, im sure there would just be one big group. |

well this is a hard call.....because if everyone & organisation got solidly behind the existing governing body for motor racing & spoke with one voice, results will happen..........but......
alas....
the age old politics of 'divide & rule' is gospel here

what existing body?
the one where when the last management team resigned when presented with a petition from members requesteing the dismissal of individuals due to allegations of corruption within the executive over funds collected within the last 7 months............please link
when will you learn its time for new blood and true transparency of management
that body needs to accept the facts and step aside and allow others to take motrosports forward |

..
you are well aware that the TTASA AGM is scheduled for 09Jul08....
the new management will ensure (I am sure) that public accountability (as far as membership is concerned) is foremost...........
moreover....internal auditors have been assigned to address the fiscal concerns..so that report is forthcoming.......
...
the new management (i'm sure) will hasten to solve the impasse currently existing with the regularisation of that famous 'agreement in principle' for a home for motor sports in Orange Valley...which the current 'minister' of sport declared as being only an agreement in principle.

I am unable to answer that question
I can only suggest that if you need an answer right away, that you ctc Dr. Baboolal who is the Chairman of Trustees.

Link how come you can give definitive answers on all of the following”
1. the new management will ensure (I am sure) that public accountability is foremost...........
2. internal auditors have been assigned to address the fiscal concerns..so that report is forthcoming.......
...
3. the new management (i'm sure) will hasten to solve the impasse currently existing with the regularisation of that famous 'agreement in principle' for a home for motor sports in Orange Valley...which the current 'minister' of sport declared as being only an agreement in principle
But a simple answer on how much members in TTASA - ask the Doc.
So am I wasting my time by asking the following:
How much monthly meetings TTASA had in the last 12 months?
How many were not held because of a lack of a quorum?
How many meetings TTASA, as the governing body, held with its affiliates?
Yesterday was 21 days from 9th July, so how many people were nominated fro the post of President? And tell me the truth, because you know! |

Well if you was present at the 2 previous Drivers meeting, you would not make a silly statement like that .... This was discussed in detail amongst other things with the DRIVERS making this conclusion ... it was not S2 alone in the decision making process !
There was going to be 2 Bleachers just outside of the Pit Area to accomodate the Children and Wives of the Drivers ...... Trust this is okay ! |
