Running in SCCA event on Sat night ....

Mr. Fixables

I need to de-stress, so I have entered this weekend's auto-x event.

But, I must like pain. I am running in GS for this event with my Automatic Integra (all stock) Sad

and the other competitors so far are the following:
2007 Civic Si (k20 with LSD)
2002 VW Golf GTI (1.8 turbo)
2007 VW Golf GTI (2.0 turbo)
2007 Mini Cooper S (1.6 turbo)

Ha ha , mih cut arse booked!!

At this point I am just hoping not to come in last.

knowing that SCCA does not use a power to weight ratio, i'm curious how that integra ended up in a class with those vehicles.

Well OK.

Ran Sat night. But I entered STS class in error instead of GS (which I told you guys I was gonna be in).

Ha Ha. It was brutal. I ended up in 13th place out of 14. But if I ran in the GS class like I said I was gonna do, I would have come in 3rd (which means I would have beaten 2 of the cars in the class). That teaches me to run in the SCCA with 500 treadwear tires and 10 year old shocks.

Probably still left 2 seconds out on the track somewhere.

Thing is ..... The winner in GS was a Mini Cooper S on Hoosiers, and he beat me by all of 3.6 seconds ??????

These guys should be able to do better than that .....

I just need to find some $$ to do the mods Smile
