how well are they built?

how accurate are thier rating?

how do they compare to other brands like boss & soundstream?

the older QP series rhell good... plenty power, very efficient for class AB amplifiers, good build. My only problem with these amps is the high operating temperature...proper ventilation is a must.

Havent used the new line as yet but heard good reviews bout them.

They much better than Boss, probably a lil better than Soundstream IMHO.

i have used the q4250 solar series amp ......for the price it is pretty impressive amp does get kinda hot while being maxed out but it is normal compared to the ss lil wonder series......nice bang for buck....better than boss definitely!

i had a QP1100.1 monoblock and a QP220.4 4 channel.
Dunno why the hell i sold those amps for cuz now u can't get them to buy anywhere unless u buying them used... Confused

The amps are definitely overrated.

High Operating temperature for REAL. When I have the thing playing at resonable volumes (you don't have to shout to talk and ground not shaking beneath you) my mids amp stays cold and the quantum gets real warm.

And at high volumes... you can literally start a fire (not lying)

But slacker_jack... because dat girl frig up d fone u had to bring this on tuner Confused

had a 1600.4 and a 1500.1 quantum amp can't get better with the price.
d cosmik subs kinda overrated, but d normal q can take about 200watts more than the rated 800watts.

i have a solar series 250*4 class ab and it very impressive i have it playin 2 10" deltas and 2 300 watt bullets and it better than the 2000 boss and is around the same as the 720 soundstream or even better. talking from experience. Laughing

alright, time to give my review, apart from the high operating temp, the amp is overrated.

mine is rated @ 1200 rms @ 2ohm & im nowhere close to properly powering my underrated 500 rms sub.

I will not jump to the conclusion that the amp is not good bcuz you hav to consider the fact that I hav a low signal being sent to the amp.

but so far, I agree, you get what you pay for, I hav an old batt a lil more than 500 amps & this amp has my windscreen flexing like it wanna fall out.

wen i get a bigger batt & beter processing, I will give a full review on how god or bad it really is.
