| if its for mirrors, afaik they don't work with a pulse. the fold in/out uses 2 or 3 wires and it switches itself off when it reaches final position in either direction regardless of if the power remains applied hence why most are controlled by a simple DPDT switch. |

u sure five seconds is the amount of time you need?
I dont think the fold in mirrors work on a pulse.
I've never torn one apart but I would think they work on triggers to tell it when it stop.
You said it had three wires?
I'd go on a limb and bet the ground wire is the trigger to stop it from folding
While the other two wires reverse polarity to control open/close |

| yup dat sounds like it..jus like d windows up module..when u arm ur alarm, it uses a negative trigger from d alarm to tell d windows module to close |

yup this self but what i mean all i need is 5 seconds of current to close/open them therefore i only need a 5 second pulse if not well it could be constant and still work. and yes two wires reverse polarity while one is a ground where can i get a relay for this app? so when the ignition is off the polarity's would switch |

| DPDT relay controlled by ignition can work if you want it to automatically open and close with ignition |

hey take a look at the 555 ic aka the
[ time machine] http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/555timer.htm
you can do anything with this
i can draw a circuit for what u want to do but thats some headache this hour
give me some time...lol
it so versatile you can set up circuits so it closes in the night and opens in the morning
no draining current ......but thats for crazy guys like me
oh it costs six dollars by steves |

u don't have to go through all that commotion pallie.
when my car starts, the mirrors open and when it cuts off the mirrors fold in.no switches.
all that was used was 2 relay found at any parts shop.
if u want i can link u up.$250 supply and install and bogoon,ur mirrors foldin and openin with ur ignition.
holla at a brother if interested! |
