if its for mirrors, afaik they don't work with a pulse. the fold in/out uses 2 or 3 wires and it switches itself off when it reaches final position in either direction regardless of if the power remains applied hence why most are controlled by a simple DPDT switch.

u sure five seconds is the amount of time you need?

I dont think the fold in mirrors work on a pulse.
I've never torn one apart but I would think they work on triggers to tell it when it stop.
You said it had three wires?
I'd go on a limb and bet the ground wire is the trigger to stop it from folding
While the other two wires reverse polarity to control open/close

yup this self but what i mean all i need is 5 seconds of current to close/open them therefore i only need a 5 second pulse if not well it could be constant and still work. and yes two wires reverse polarity while one is a ground where can i get a relay for this app? so when the ignition is off the polarity's would switch

DPDT relay controlled by ignition can work if you want it to automatically open and close with ignition
