^ ^ ^ Thanks for the heads up venum. I didn't even know CKs had fold-down rear seats.
Sounds like something I want to try on the GSR/E6 clone.

You may not be able to..

The areas to bolt the folding seats into may be different, but more importantly, the non-folding seats use a hook type design along the back panel to secure the seat.

The fold down seats use a latch similar to what is on your door sill to hold it in place. The non folding seats do nat have these latches... you may have to weld it in...

Thanks MISHI. If they still have the rear cut maybe they will sell the top seat support panel
and hardware. Spot/stitch welding them into place won't be an issue.

The JDM\SDM CK2 didn't have 60\40 rear collapsible seats

local and RORO CK4 has them

MISHI is right about the hooks at the top of the non-fold

but these are easy to bypass with teh fold seats

Putting the latch on to secure the folding seats may be tricky

but ask SHO how he did it

this should be a possible install, as these Lancers usually have compatibilities between them

too all that don't know... it's not magic... it's just a matter of gettin all th pieces... cause the hook it attaches too is removable Shocked that's right removable... it's just like an engine swap from ck1 to mivec... once yuh have th correct engine mount it will work...

anwyas folding seats from th ck are kinda hard to find cause 99% of th japanese models INCLUDING the ck4 mivec come with a one piece seat... however th local GLX and GLXi models have them also some of th singapore models came with these seats... just remember... th folding ck seats came in 4 parts not 2(which is th back rest)...

so if yuh buyin it get all th pieces... all yuh need apart from th seats themselves(cause the hinges are attached to th seats) are the 2 little hooks that the seat clips on to, which stop them from swingin down which bolts onto the car... and well for all those people who are just like me and like to have your car lookin complete... there are also the 3 plastic finishers so yuh car eh go jes look like ah piece of metal wen yuh fold dem down...

my car came original with fold down seats tho... i jes did it already for ah fella... got all th parts out of a singapore back half... and just like every other part on my car... i'm willing to sell th fold down setup for th right price Very Happy

hope i helped Wink
