single sub? its a matter of personal preference

but im assuming u want a sub that will go deviously low n be really loud ... theres only one solution imo

use multiple woofers cus lower in frequency u go the more air u need to move

the mtx will get much much louder than the xxx but the xxx will play notes the mtx can only dream of

my bet on a good sub is the Orion HCCA 15"...
from all the vids and reviews, i would say it's loud, low and clean...
BUT you need to have power to back it up...

ORRR..

located that new pioneer 15" spl beast..

in the right enclosure it can be used as a daily beater as well..

true that... heard the 12" version in a box tuned low and it shook me up... real good...
the output of that sub can cause some serious head pains... i could only imagine what the 15" version will do...
