Keep in mind this was in the turbo "munga" days of 1000-1500hp (they would run 'qualifying' engines at 60psi then swap motors for the race).

One of those actually came fully prepared to T&T, brought in by Mit. Agents, Trinity Motors then, and was driven by the team of Cheekes and Fifi. Plenty others went to Barbados- Micey still has one.

If enough of us scream at them we could tell them save the $200m to furnish the performing arts building and stick in one of them things, it going be a start - an real nice acoustics. Oops just woke up!

Boss is two saith park events, allyuh pull off for this year already yuh know, with this rate i say this should be a nice project for 2010..

Anyway, nice seeing some of the best machines that really set WRC ablaze, yet nobody coud come back with Michelle Mouton and the Audi Quattro that redefined the world of Rallying.

Newly built from very good original RS2000 road car. Channel Island car from new with 3 owners & 44,000miles - I even have a copy of original PDI paper work from our Ford Dealer. Shell was completely stripped back to bare metal inside & out, then meticulously prepared using parts from Gartrac & Ralloy and fitted with full T45 TIG welded Custom Cages roll cage with all paperwork inc.FIA/MSA certificate. Shell was then professionally painted inside & out in BMW(X5)Sterling Grey. Engine is latest spec' all steel drysumped 2.4ltr Warrior/Connaught 16v on down draught injection, built by Connaught Competition Engines in March this year. Proper 300hp & 220 lbsft torque, again all paperwork/dyno sheets included. (engine alone is £20,000 to buy new!!) Gearbox is Tran-x SL72 5spd dogbox (6 dog type). Car is fitted with Grp4 Fabrications P/S system, heated screen, Recaro SPG's, 3' 6pt Sabelts, teflon fuel lines, Ralloy sill stands, etc etc.... Lots of carbon used hence all in 'wet' weight of 910kg with 1/2 tank of fuel. Car has never been rallied but used in a handfull of hillclimbs hence under 50 comp' miles since new. Comprehensive build photo's availible for serious inquiries. Stunning car in new condition. Located in Guernsey, Channel Islands. £42,500
