Yeah fellas, a lot of assistance is required please. I was wondering if this setup can be done both front and rear (to distribute brake bias) with the bnr32 gtr brakes system on a b13 (calipers, rotors, lines, brakes master cylinder, slave cylinder and booster) and to add for good measure titanium brake shims to prevent that nasty brake fade Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil . I think the rotors come 5x114.3 offset but it can be re-drilled to 4x100 offset. What are the other necessary modifications that would be needed to pull this off, what would be the cost, and anybody have experience with type of set up before? This is going on a daily driver/solodex/time attack machine and hopefully when the uphill and much more anticpated downhill events come to existence i could try my hand at that Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

This setup sounds impossible.

i think that the setup is possible according the pic at this link
http://i200.photobucket.com...TRA/382171647_Z6qKz-O.jpg
Those look like brembo's hopefully all round (with type of project they would consider brake bias as well) with 4-lug pattern rotors, -->X FACTOR i seriously thought about it but because of my driving style i need the stopping power and plus the resistance to brake fade(i trailbrake late in the braking zone) and with the research i done i have 3 options
1. upgrade the compund of the pad that has a higher "knee-point"
2. install slotted or drilled rotors to vent the gases from friction from the pad and rotor
3. install a titanium shim plate between the pad and caliper to dissipate the heat build from friction which would prevent the brake fluid from boiling
now option 1 & 2 covers the friction created by the pad and rotor and i could choose option 1 & 2 but will be still plauged with the problem of the brakes fluid boiling Sad Sad but the only brakes system for nissan that hopefully would fit on a b13 that the company produces the shim for is the r32 gtr Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

takumi,

installing the r32 front rotors and calipers can be done on a B13. i have seen a B13 wit it already in trini..... all you have to do i take the 32 rotor disc to a machine shp along with your originals and they would drill over the bolt patter and inner circle so as to have it match up with your spindle.....for bolting the calipers, you might have some work.....you might have to elongate the bolt holes in order for the calipers to line up properly wit the rotor disc. then when you're done, well the rest is standard wtr brake lines

as for the rear set up...... that might be very difficult if not impossible.

i am not very familiar with the B13 rear disc brake setup, but for the R32, the rear disc setup consists of rotor disc, caliper and a drum brake setup. the drum brake setup is for the e-brake or hand brake.
if the rear R32 setup is to be used you might have to change the whole rear spindle....but yet again i could be wrong

doing thid to the rotor, would drilling more holes weaken the rotor ?
