Question/Suggestion for Racing bodies

From the Previous event that took place in yesterdays July 5th TTASA Time Attack event, it was deemed Successful right!!

now, jus as they Got the POLICE/Authorities to block the PUBLIC Road/Control the little traffic to hold a Time Attack event..

(i'm sure the Public Understands that there is NO Place to RACE)

Why cant they do the Same to Hold a DRAG/STREET RACING Event too??

i mean, look at it this way, the Turn out in the July 5th event was Not too bad, but at the same time, not too good(as compared to Dragracing)...

If this "Drag racing event" unfolds, i am 100% sure it WILL BE ATLEAST 5-10 Times greater than the Time attack..

Location...well there are alot more 1/2 mile stretches in Trinidad than "circuit like" tracks

Now i knw some of the Roads the Rail cars etc might not be able to run, but the majority of Racers are Street cars.
for example:

Pierre Road in charlieville- what ever little traffic can be Re-Routed to the main road. Also there are NO Houses nearby and the road is wide enough.

In Waller Field there are more than 1 stretch which can be used conviently.

And i'm Sure there are Many more places in Trinidad which this can be possible..

what's to stop ppl from going "after hours" to "practice" on this said stretch?

trini mentality again......they will just spoil it for everybody with their gimme gimme attitude.

Dragsta, your efforts are great but useless. At the end of the day the sport is bigger that u and me but smaller than the few ppl that keep it back.
