hey guys,
firstly it makes my heart weep to actually be reading a post like this one where years of iasca awareness and competitions have finally brought people to think constructively and competitively oriented.........
this is the kind of post where we are looking for in order to build the standard of international competitions here in trinidad.........
as for the question at hand re stock vehicles are doing such high scores..........
these guys are building tunned enclosures to optimised the efficiency of their systems.........
the process in a nutshell:
firstly calculate resonance frequency (1/4 of wave resonance)
tune the enclosure to at least 10htz over this frequency
proper sound deading of cabin as possible
you need competition subs- not the off the shelf you buy at the store
you need an amp per sub well over 4000watts
you need a stock upgraded amplifiers.......i said stock upgraded
maximised wire strand count cables
proper head unit........preferably an alpine with the integrated db roll
batteries must be deep cycle
at this point you should be close to the world record standard............however you have just spent well over $100,000
plain talk bad manners............if you're talking bout world record don't ask for cheap!!!!!!!!
i did 170 at the shop........and it cost well over $500,000
at this point i probably got to spend close to that again in order to make the van road worthy........its at the straightening garage........
hey got to go........ill be back in trinidad tonight we can continue this |

| Cause the air more dense, hence it becoming more "heavy" and making it easier to move around? I dunno das my theory behind it.. |
