Of course i would not leave out my mean sounding intake. The acceleration has improved alot, of course too i'm using irridium plugs as well. At long speeds my engine builds up quickly and it revs harder, i even reach to 180km/h without getting gas cut.

I keep up with bigger engines than mines eg. Vtecs, Turbo diesels 2500cc/ 3000cc...manuals, and i have witnesses to testify on that. But only on LONG RUNS. My engine breathes free, drinks a little extra gas and can outrun most 1.6L- 1.8L engines in their stock form. HONEST.

Same here. Remember that the QG series are ECONO engines so u will still retain that even after installing those things in your car. But when it comes down to heavy spirited driving u will suck up extra gas to accomodate with the Air/Fuel ratio.

the thing by the wheel is a resonator used to kill the sound of the intake. u cud remove it... air wud reach the engine faster and it wud make more noise. removing it supposed to result in better acceleration, read that on the net sometime ago...

to remove it you have to remove the wheel guard and there r 2 screws on either side holdin it down. when you remove the screws it falls right out.

i'm not talkin about anything on the wheel guard.i'm talkin bout the black piping leading to the air box,it can be removed.in order to open it,i'll have to cut the plastic.there is already a hole opened in the guard,it just that the opening in the intake is blocked

when drivin more air will rush up too d engine an u will gain ah few HPs

Aye...Rodn3y is talking about the same thing as u. It is down below the left light and above the left wheel. Remove the wheel guard to remove the box. SIMPLE

someone904, you dont have to cut anything. everything does jus snap into place. when the air comes into the opening behing the light it travels down into the fenderwell into a box which kills the intake sound, then it goes back up to the air box in the engine then thru the filter and to the trottle body.

jus do what i said up there ^^ and when you remove the box from the fender the other plastic pipe will come out easily... i did it with no hastle
