Rodn3y, i put in a newly custom made oval shaped resonator with a silencer placed in it. Since the extractors are there, they create alot more heat in the engine bay than the stock manifolds...and i can't say if the pipe were wrapped in heat material but i do know that it came chrome and rust free. If u look at my avatar, there isn't no rust stains on them and i does give my engine a hose down ever so often and there's no rust.
It's almost two years since installed everything cost me $1750. And to install the barrel that cost somewhere around $250 because i added extra pipe to extend the barrel in an outer/ twisted direction away from my bumper.
Bhagan i bought some auto guages to tell whether i get more rich or lean but i haven't installed them as yet. I want to sell it and buy the newer AUTO METER instead of AUTO GAUGE, hopefully by August month end i'll get them and i'll know the results. |

or ok... so after d extractors u jus have a resinator wit silancer in it right? cuz someone told me to put a resinator after d extractors and then put back a silancer by the bumper...
do you think that a resinator and a silancer will hamper the air flow out of the exhaust? i usin 2" pipin n well i gonna buy some mandrell bends too. |

don't put anything after d extractors, allow the air to flow freely there and put on the resonator just before the barrel. As long as u are running bigger piping air flow should not really be affected.
Avoid putting anything anything after the headers, because resonators tends to build up extra heat so try to put them nearer the barrel or there's a high flow muffler with built in resonators in them that you could get. |

I have a Qg also, Qg 18 DD which is not as common as the rest. This is the best fuel consumption i have ever seen on such a large engine.I am also impressed with the speed and power of it together with the comfort.
Currently I'm not driving it though as it's idling too high and I don't want to take chances and mash up anything until I get it repaired..Who knows a real good Qg Nissan mechanic |

So u does tune QG eh ? When u cleaning injectors, do u remove the fuel rails and clean them direct with some kinda spray ppl does use? Or do just service it by the basic way through the injector hose?
I don't mind carrying the wagon by u, that price rel irresistable . |

Auto GAUGE is a rip off of the Auto-GAGE line up from Autometer. |
