PR is like one of the meccas for rotaries on the 1/4 mile....they haev some stupid fast street cars as well...daily driven, street legal 9 second rotaries are pretty common....Aussie has a sheitload of fassssssst rotaries as well...
And their chassis' are surprisingly stable as well...wheel stands like that! but very very straight down the track for some 7 second machines! |

Those cars from puerto rico are beautiful and are really fast but this year they could not beat the florida boys. 1ST and 2ND place was won by two four cyclinders cars out of west palm beach. |

Columbia(hard Target) came 1st. Dont know who was 2nd though.
Ah have ah treat for allyuh. Later I will post up some vids showing these guys racing back in the 90s at Lakeland 1/8 mile track. Quality is a bit hazy but you will see where theses guys came from. I may even have Crispeeds 79 corolla on the line. (unfortunately it snapped the axle on the launch.)
