| i would've thought that since one could buy roro swifts, then why not engines/transmissions? |

| No market.. the engines are fairly new and work fine.. what're the chances that one has gone bad and needs to be replaced? Maybe in a couple years they'll start to be seen in the bamboo. |

| ill look and see if i can get them from the uk. u think an m15 head on an m16 block would work and lower compression for turbo charging? |

| ^^if the cylinder blocks are the same casting used between the 15 &16, then the head would most likely bolt on, if there are any differences with the 15 & 16 heads (VVT, etc.), then that's where you'll have issues. |

that won't lower the compression .... not enough anyway. |

the head has very little to do with compression .....
you would have to swap the pistons ...and you would still be 9:5.1
at that point you can try a thicker metal head gakset. |

so they achieve the increased compression from a longer stroke on the swift sport that y it 1.6 and 11.1 compression?
so that means the head is the same apart from the valve springs.
hmmm that might be a good thing in the long run lol |

| if anyone had 'access' to the part numbers & part diagrams, then it would be usefull to see IF part numbers differ; head castings, valves, head gaskets (to name a few). Anyone know anyone in LS? |
