^^Emanage ultimate is proven on the SSS (both Greddy/Trust and R's racing used it on their power package ZC31S offerings to much success).

I used the Ultimate briefly in another car......and it's really comprehensive compared to what a "somewhat simplistc by comparison" SAFC can do....esp. considering that the Ultimate can use external sensors (knock / MAP etc etc).

Of course, as with all applications of either, keep in mind you may lose *some* of the inherent safety functions that the ECU has (more so with the SAFC, you can perhaps try some limits in the Emanage Ult I imagine)......such as ign retard due to knock for example?

I trust you'd have some mods you'd want to "tune" for of course? (4-2-1 headers? exhaust? intake?)

ye ill be modding it as soon as its had its 1k i have lots of spare performance parts that i have no use for on the forester as it has all the sti trimmings lol so may aswell put them into service my friend had offered to swap ultimate for my profec. only prob is i dont like that sort of stuff in a "used" condition as theres always little things missing that turn out to be important.

also wuz d scene with the esp. does the version of the sport sold here actually have it or not? i dont see an esp button or nething.

yes they do .... but only the mega package swift sport comes with the button to switch it off next to the handbrake leaver.

u know if the wiring is already in place for the esp switch? if so ill rig it in myself lol,
although the esp proved itself if it was the esp and not me that brought the car back in-line after some sideways action round the savannah. its the tcs i wanna switch off. Purely for scientific purposes

take yuh time with the esp/ tcs ......... at high speeds if you aggressively over correct while power sliding the esp kicks in and hits you a wicked snap over steer.

you hear quite a "thud" sounds from the box and the light blinks when it kicks in ......... it comes in with a slight touch of the brakes during loss of traction .......

i think ryan peru perfected using it with left foot braking at dex Wink

ive found the car likes to shake its ass a bit though lol i expected more understeer but i guess thats the esp doing its job.
altho its been 4 years since i owned a light fwd guess i gotta get used to it again.

Well, keep us updated on how it goes....strange that folks still go around using boost controllers in Subys.

I'm actually curious to see what you do with the Ult (tuner??)......as most folks with the SS (not me btw) tend to shy away from any "modification" (other than graphics and the "typical" K&N panel filter Laughing)

im not gonna go too far with the mods (well im trying to refrain), tbh the car is vey well balanced stock,
suzuki seems to have done a god job on it i definately want to get another 20-30whp as i was under the impression i was buying a new car with 125 whp lol. as theres no turbo to play with it gonna be a little bit of a task to make the numbers. i used octane boost on this tank of gas to see how much power the 95 ron is stealing. the drive to maracas over the weekend will indicate what i need to do as long as theres not too much traffic if there is ill go up on a weekday.
p.s graphics,panel filters and giant chrome rims aint my thing rofl

^^My 2c....... off the shelf octane boosters are in most cases, pointless. The small amount hardly raises the octane of a full, or even half a tank of gas, effectively beyond 1 "RON" (calc. volumetric average of octanes - 0.Cool. And they can mess up the O2 sensors over time (the boosters with MMT that is).

Now if you try toluene.............. Shocked Very Happy

^^If I don't use NOS Racing Forumla, my car wil ping heavily from peak torque (4,000rpm) to redline. If your cars' management deals with low octane fuel well (pulls back Ign. timing), then in most cases you won't even notice there's something missing. until, you add a good octane booster, not jus ah 'treatment' ...I've done lots of research on octane boosters, and the NOS Racing Formula wins hands down in every test! I buy the sh!t by the case cuz my cars' management isn't capable of pulling back timing, lol.

x2...don't waste your money on octane boosters.

the mega package was never offered locally ......
recaro's, led taillights, hid headlights, esp switch and few other interior trims.
they had a mega package SX4 on trial though... but was sent back to japan
1.5 all wheel drive.

^^^W3rd. That NOS booster one of the few that actually doesn't use MMT if I'm not mistaken. It's one of the better ones out there too......actually gives a good octane boost (I'll have to chain up one of our lab techs to run the Octane of this with pump premium on the test engine setup)
