Strange... the FIA rules and regs don't seem to have a 'per event temp license' section... is this a special rule alotted to TnT ?

The same way you can advise about having someone attend for me, you can answers the fundamental query of will all classes get a $5,000.00 winners purse even though there may be 6 or 8 or 10 competitors in the class.

In typical TTASA style, you never clearly state all the conditions and then on or after race day, drivers discover the "fine print"

And you fail to realize that this is one of the reasons that drivers over the years have little faith in TTASA. And you then want to get more vex when this is pointed out to you.

4/ A WINNER-TAKE-ALL PRIZE OF $5000 (FIVE THOUSAND) GOES TO THE VICTOR OF EACH BRACKET FROM 16 TO 10-SECONDS...
.
5/ AND THE WINNING BIKE ALSO GETS $5000..there is only a 10-secs bracket comp

no fine print there....leave that for others...
if there is to be any variation (or addition) to what is posted, then it will be advised AT THE BRIEFING MEETING by the Competitions Chairman.

16 cars per class @ $350 = 5600
winner payout of $5000
net per class $600.
net per entrant $600/16 = $37.5

could there be hope of having Test & tunes at something close to that price? wishful thinking i know, but throwing that out anyway.

Doubt it... still have insurance, ambulance, fire and so on to pay for.

But I think we NEED a test and tune - we have not had proper time to tune OR test cars for years now (WITH a timing system in place, functional 60', ET and trap speed at the MINIMUM), so how can you run a 'championship' if people's cars aren't even up to speed ?

Have they all been testing on the street ? Shocked

TTASA is working toward having the necessary equipment realised....
..
a test & tune is carded after 01/02 March event...date TBA...
in the meantime...a local championship has to start at some point..& waiting in the wings, twiddling thumbs wouldn't cut it.......
regardless of how primitive some may think the efforts being made are...they do count for something and have a cumulative effect on the eventual best possible scenario.
...
&, YES, listening to the conversations, they've been 'testing on the street...some doing 'well', others climbing on top of other cars (jumping gear??)....oh well...all part of the 'R & D'...
