It is here. Arrived at the NYC flagship store yesterday, and in Europe earlier in the week. Reviews are pouring in around the nets from end-consumers...VERY IMPRESSED-is the overall consensus.
This guy got his yesterday:

Compared to the Iphone lets see:
The Nokia N97 features live video streaming whereas the iPhone doesn’t even have built in flash yet...
hmmmm what else the n97 has over the iphone.....
SMS forwarding
MMS
File transfer
Video Recording
Removable Battery
Multitasking...
5 mp camera..
FM Receiver
FM transmitter.....u gotta love this.....u can transmit songs from your phone to any radio within range.......
JAVA
secondar camera
expandable memory...can be used as a flash drive.
The keyboard on the N97 is an outright differentiator. All you have on the3G iphone is a virtual keyboard that you can see on the screen and use the touch screen option to key in. This is a definite problem especially if you are not comfortable typing – you’ll see that you will take a whole lot of time on that. That is not the case with your N97. All you have to do is slide your phone and you’ll have a full fledged keyboard – the QWERTY type one on your phone. So that you make messaging hassle free compared to the iphone.
The memory of the N97 is far more extended than any other phone in the market today. Thanks to the 32GB memory that the phone has, there is absolutely no comparison in the near vicinity. This vast memory that the N97 possesses is definitely something that it has to its advantage, all the more the reason that no other phone is thinking of this facility..

Doomsday Clock
Feng Shui Lotto
Abacus
Phone Saber
HelpMe!
Touch Train
Girlfriend Caller

1115 applications doh mean $#!t...I bet:
1. Half don't work
2. 1/4 you don't even know what they do
3. 1/8 cost you money
4. The rest smart phones 3 years ago could've done.
Get real man, you could've come with a MUCH better argument.

So did many others. But apparently most are saying it's very responsive-comparable to the iPhone...I have my doubts. |

nokia should get rid of the outdated symbian OS and use Android or something.
then they might actually start selling phones... |

not bashing nokia, they make good phones. not the best anymore but still good.

Hence Nokia must put emphasis on their Camera and GPS to sell phones
Other than that, the phone is basic |
