| normally on all car doors, u'l find dat d orginal diameter of d factory speaker tend 2 b 6" or 6.5". The co axials will work. I've got 2 pairs in my premiera but its d 99" model. If u intallin 6x9s dat means u wud hav 2 cut out ur bac dash 2 install dem..but if u realy want 2 install d 6.5"s or 6"s on ur doors, dats no prob..but d real concern is ur bac dash being cut...if i were u i'l go wit 2 pairs of co axials (6.5" or 6")..save u d stress of cutin ur bac dash |

| 6.5'' coaxials or 6.5'' components. And you can use back the pod that comes in the door. |

eh!?
with those speakers, he will then have to buy midbass / bass and tweeters to compliment them.. and he will also have to buy amps to run all those speakers just to get proper sound..
i say get a component set for up front and coaxials (no 6x9"s) for the rear.. i usually recommend taking out your stock speakers when going to buy, that way you get the right size speakers.. |

^^x2, anyhow you look at it you are gonna have to remove the door cards etc so might as well take out the stock speaker and drive to the audio store pretending your in a racecar..
Oh pick up some deadening also, it helps 2wink |

6" or 6 1/2" will fit in the front doors
same for the back dash
6x9's will not fit unless you make risers for the back dash and it will not look stock
they can be installed under the back dash with an adapter plate and some slight mods |

6.5" will fit in most cars with out any mond, what you will have to pay attention to is the hole spacing, I am not sure if it is the same with all those comps out here.
the best advice you also got there it to remove the speaker when you going & take it with you, you can offer up the new speakre against it & check the hole spacing etc.
hole spacing shhould be the same as them almera, bluebird & most nissan cars, I can tell you offhand that the hole spacing for number plates for almost all of them is the same (I got tired of taking measurements to drill holes for number plates so I cut a hole template & does use it for b12, b13, b14, b15, n16 almera, bluebird, primera).
I offered up some of the audiopie dj miss speakers in my almera & they have same hole spacing. go with some nice component speakers & a small 4 channel if you just looking to upgrade from the stock speakers (I will like to believe they are clarion & the suspension gone through which seems to be what happens with most of those cars). some sound deadening on your doors will work wonders too.
what is your budget range? |

the guy already has an idea of what he wants ....
he has a 4 channel that can do avg 400 rms total .....
so all he want to do is use speakers on half of the amp and power up a sub on the other half
a simple cost effective solution is what he is looking at ....he gave me 1K to wire it up and place new speakers in it ....... so pioneer co axial seems the best bet....
any other brands u guys think fall in that range |

^^^
Id use component speakers in place of coaxials, the components can respond to frequencies as low as 50hz & then you can have your sub cover frequencies below that. a set of powerbass components should do well for the price (S-6C
does as low as 60hz) or check exonic on the forum, you can get some CDT's or Diamond comps.
you can set the hpf for the comps to 60hz & you can set the sub lpf to 60 hz (it all depends on your/his listening preferences), this will work if his objective leans mre towards loud. |

If you want the powerbass you can buy mine... i'm thinking of going coax. |
