this is true was about to purchase new headlights when my bro-in-law hand me a magical tube of autosol.

almost the same procedure as MISHI,

1. clean headlights with soap and water.
2. used a baby diaper cloth to apply autosol in dabs.
3. gently rub autosol over entire surface of the headlight with diaper cloth.
4. used a ocsilating polisher with the buffing foam pad to work the autosol in.
5. hand buff with clean diaper cloth.
saw a significant difference after the first time but still repeated this after every wash for a month to make sure to maintain glossy look and now headlights are looking and working wonderful. Wink

did same process on my fogs also.
but not the same effect on glass as plastic.

Laughing Diaper cloth is the real sheit to use when you washing yuh car.

Nah i doh use it to wash the car just to apply polish and thing plus i might have to rethink using it, wife complaining that she can find one when she needs it.

had some sort of sticky thing on one of my taillights think it was silcone or something, anyway it was coming out with soap and water so i tried a little bit of autosol and it left a blurry spot in place of the stickness.

plastic polish is okay on your taillights not the autosol.

I don't think there's any way to stop that overspray, other than taping up the wheels itself...
