I got a PAZ Sonata, with a mitsubishi 4G63, i would like to get a turbo for this engine, the engine came from a 1994 mitsubishi RVR, from what i read, the engine is practically the same as in the EVOIII but without the turbo, anyone know if there is still turbo's for this engine, also anyone ever transplanted any other engine other than the mitsu 4G63 into a sonata, i'm looking to put in a more up-to-date engine, i would like to put in one of the newer 4G's like from the EVO V and up, but i don't know if it'll work, and i'm also told that to get a 4G63 is the hardest thing on the planet to get, so again anyone with info or advice on engine swap, and the turbo

What about one of those Nissan SR engines? From what I have seen on this site, people seem to be installing those engines in any car.

Okay first off the Y2 models originally came with the 4G63 engines just without the mitsu badge.

Second i have done allot of research into make power out of that car with the available suppliers hear in trinidad and it is not an easy task believe you me.

the original bolt on turbo for that car is impossible to find in trinidad the only person i ever heard with one was scorpion and well that was before i had my car.

There are Y2 sonatas rolling with SR20 NA silver top in them and well to be frank i have walk away from them with my current set up

only had the pleasure to meet one individual that has an SR20 turbo in his sonata and well he had a tough thing with it, but he enjoys ever minute with it when it works properly.

Saw in the papers once a sonata with a 4G63 turbo but that was the y3 models the one when they swing the engine to left to right ...

^^ that is the links to my car taken a while back

If you need any help feel free to ask

Am never did much with the brakes since the car came with 4- wheel ABS disc brake set up... you could probably try and source the rear discs for it ......
