Haven't really seen any Aristo's in Trinidad.... I've been building mine for about a year now, check it out:

So when i first got this car, it was a dirty old dog, let me digress;

This is what the car looked like when it came to Canada

Somewhere between the previous owner, and the day i went to see it this happened:

The night i brought her home

Specs:
-91 Aristo V
-Garson VIP kit
-Work Meister 18x10 18x12
-Leather
-Swapped to 5spd
-1.5 way diff
-Blown kei office coils

The bad:
-no 3rd gear, transmission is screwed
-diff is leaking
-rear brake calipers are slapping the rims because they're missing bolts
-blown coilovers
-strut mounts are toast
-blown turbos
-blowing oil
-front and rear bumpers were ripped off
-car was previously pink, was coated with a shitty black paintjob which is now peeling
-needs a lot of body work
-turn signal lever broken
-extremely cloudy headlights
-stock exhaust system with weld on mufflers, mufflers are rusted and have holes in them
-coilpacks are cracked
-extreme p/s leak
-all 4 rims are bent, 2 front tires are flat

So i spend a week working on it, getting it semi decent for the car club cruise to sylvan lake, here is the result;

-USDM steel turbos
-Custom downpipe
-HKS exhaust system
-Bridgestone NPG coilovers
-Put the bumpers back on
-duct taped the giant crack in the wing (yes i know, still ghetto)
-fixed brakes
-fixed diff seal
-new coilpacks, plugs, connectors, bypass hoses, valve cover seals
-flush all fluids and replace with OEM toyota fluids (except engine oil)
-polish headlights and replace with HID's
-new tires and fixed 2 of the 4 rims
-HKS Fcon Vpro
-HKS boost gauge
-brake upgrade
-replaced tranny and redid the swap properly

after the bodywork is finished, the car will never see the track again. just going to be a fast street car. i should be around 700whp.

I'm going to push it harder and harder until the 2J bottom end fails, then i'll put my fully built 2J in.

I figure there is no point of pulling out an engine that runs perfect. I also want to see what's going to fail in the stock engine.

Thanks for the comments guys, also here is my other 147, this is a Lexus GS300, ended up buying this car for $300, for that price you could imagine the condition it was in before I cleaned it up. I let my gf daily drive this car, it's a workhorse and it still runs great! We use this car year round and put winter snow tires on it and drive it all winter as well.

Here is some pics from when i was first starting to roll my fenders to fit my wheels, it fits flush now.
