| see if the wire by the connector broken on the both sensors cam and crank the lazy pull could be a leaking coil pack look at it in the night turn off all the lights and lights around eg house and take off the engine cover and put your finger 3 mm away from the coil if it's leaking you would see the current jumping toward your finger don't worry it won't shock you |

No leaks seen. Should plugs have scorch marks along the white part (the scorch marks seem to originate from the metal that the plug spanner holds) and also should coil packs just rest on the plug or should it clip like plug wires do?
Maybe the car needs to visit you. PM where you're located. |

Anil i have a question for u
i couldnt find the wire for my Ac compressor that goes to the Ac switch in side the car, so the guys who dose my Ac (he knows a little electrical) splised the wire comming directly from the ac switch and connected it to the ac relay under the hood dont know ecactly what he did after but he also ran a wire to the battery so i dont know if it is connected to the compressor or the relay. Any how the ac is working now but the car idles sluggish when the ac is on but it dose not cut off.
what do u think about his method ? he also told me to get a 10am fuse to put on the system.
Can the way he did this have any negative effects on my engine or ECU ?
also i think the car steps up the idel when i turn on the ac but i not sure. |

Boneyard, wait your car is fuel injected? ok well you can't use that method because the ac output passes thru the ecu then back out then to the compressor and fans . is the fans comming on when the ac button is pressed and the compressor staying off? is there gas in the system ? because the ac line has a pressure switch as a safety if the gas goes too low the compressor will not come on and burn. also check the fuse and relay there are 3 relays controlling the whole ac system look in the relay box in the bonnet you would see it marked just interchange the relay with the other and see if it comes on to know if the relay is at fault and yes the ac button steps up the idle
how did the electrian wire up the relays? how it working
Strugglerzinc,
is the plugs looking like there's traces of oil on them? is the car misfiring , pdling smooth? |

i can tell you which wires to connect the thing is that when you wire a fuel injected into a cab the ac system wiring has to be changed too the old output wire from the switch has to go to #41 blue / green wire on the ecu then # 106 is the output to the fans and compressor once the output from the ac botton is conected the engine will automatically idle up when you press it |

Sorry i for got to mension my car is a Gts it had an Sr18 in it before. The electrician i got to do the wiring for me at first was not exprienced in engine swaps and messed up my original harness (Sr18) so i had to use the harness the came with the Sr20de RR i think its out of a P11 or P12.
Pluse when we were swaping compressor (from the 18 to the 20 cause the car's ac line was'nt botling properly to the 20's compressor) some of the ac wire was burnt and melted but the ac worked, to make a long story short the(new one) electrician, removed the burnt wire but in swaping the harness and trying to wire the car back which proved to be a task for him it was excuses after excuses about how to get back the ac wired. |

|
arite people instead of pm ing mr and i having to type the same thing for everyone i'll just do it here it a service consists of
servicing the trottle body, injectors, air flow, psi pump ,pcv valve
changing of plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, plug wires
check up fan belts, charge rate, timing
plus more arite so no need to pm and ask |

| you can check your air flow using a multimeter you need to check for a output voltage going back to the ecu it should be steady and not fluctuating |

| Anil_Sooknanan wrote: | AC lots of ppl seems to get confused why the car eh colding good
starting from the basics it consists of mainly the compressor, dryer, condensor, evaporator, blower , oil, gas(R12 or R134 )and connecting lines
1) compressor - it's simply a pump made similar to a cylinder with a piston , and intake and exhaust valve, what it does is push the gas thru the system and pulls it back out and in again
2)condenser - is to cool the gas before it enters the car
3) dryer - remover the moister from the gas before the car
4) evaporator - is where the coldness really is
5) blower - blows the cold air into the car thru the vents
the process goes like this
compressor > condenser >dryer > evaparator > back to compressor
some things to know *
see that thingy above the bonnet like fins? also known as the cow pannel thats where the air from outside the car enters the car then to the blower and the blown thru the evaparator and then out the vents
BUT the thing is that the dust cloggs the evaporator and reduces cooling big time |
How do you get to the cabin filter in a Y10 wingroad ? |

| every electronic fuel injected engine have a idle screw and it not the screw on the trottle or tps it's normally located close to the ACC valve black in colour (Nissan) , it's correct name is a air bypass screw . due to the fact that when the trottle is close no air can pass the butterfly so the air is channel around the butterfly and is adjusted by the screw for proper idle . so when you actually turn the screw on the trottle your messing up everything from the ecu readings to timing |

| Yo Anil If your rotors are a bit uneven would you reccomend that they be machined or should they be replaced by new ones. I recently machined my rotors and I hear a constant squeaking noise on both sides of the car as if the the brake pads are rubbing against the rotor. Also I hear a clicking noise on the left hand side. Could this all be as a result of machining the rotors? Also my mechanic says that it may be that the brake pads are too durable and are cutting the rotors... dis sounding like rubbish to me, what you think? |

| rotors have a minimum thickness after being machined before they have to be replaced. its usually stamped on the side or can be found in the factory service manual for your car. Using a caliper measure the thickness and see if it falls withing specs, if not replace. |
