| DJ Q, yes it could be done but it can't work as perfect as a fuel injected you need to work with precision with the fuel increase of you'll smoke like a diesel |

pedro when you doing such test you have you have do it with the engine at opperation temperture due to the fact of expansion if you think about it when you pressurize the system while it's cold the leak may not show up but when it's hot every thing expands if you get what i'm saying
lets say the radiator has a hair line crack or leak when it gets hot the hole opes and leak and as soon as the water reaches out it's so hot it dries before you could even see it an it's dangerous to do this arite so don't go trying it on your own and push your head all in the engine room an boom it blows and gives you a complete facial you won't like
Picasso, thanks man just helping out people who as like me i had not a clue about cars and people use to tell me one set ah BS |

| isn't the choke on the carborator supposed to help with starting and warming up? with my old corolla I use to turn on the ignition and press the gas pedal and release it before starting and this engaged the choke. the car started immedately and was driveable. |

ABS system
Anti lock braking system - it controlls the car by fluctuating the fluid pressure
how it works? well the sensors at the wheel sends an AC signal to the ecu to monitor movement speed of the car when you marsh the brakes it will determine if to apply the abs or just normal brakes
TIPS
if the light comes on you can try this to reset it (while the ign is off unjack the abs fuse for a while and then plug it back it)
never use different sizes of tyres on your car it sensor thinks the car is sliping when it is not resulting in .... you know
when changing you CV joints don't hammer the sensor yuh go F*** it up
don't use dot5 fluid |

| no the only thing affects it is if the diameter of one wheel size is different from the other once your wheels are the same you don't have a problem |

| as you can see your bleeder not is made with a kinda ball end , thats for a bleeder hose to fit into and the hose goes to a bottle so you won't splash up the fluid on your paint, ect, firstly start removing the fluid in the resovor using a suringe and suck out most of the fluid then crack the lines an the four wheels and connect your hose and pump it all out then remove the resovour (the plastic thing you pour the fluid in ) and wash it out using water and quix then dry it out with a cloth and remount it fill up the fluid and take of the battery pole you don't want your abs light to be on when your finish , start from the left rear , front right, right rear, left front once the fluid comming good(with no air and good pressure) you bleed the pump itself ( not all cars have this) there's 2 bleeder on the pump itself |

^^^ tell you some other time
i see a lot of people when there car over heat they switch off the car and full the water which will warp the cylinder head due to sudden cooling the correct way is to start the car and full the water Another thing same concept washing your rims right after a long drive !! always remember your rotors are steaming hot and putting water will also warp it let it cool off first |

Alot of good info. keep up the good job Anil
Anyway, i want to get some advice on cradle bushings. My car is a B15. I think i have changed them about 3 times already (i.e. lower cradle bushings in the front). Most mechanics blame our bad roads.
Is there any thing i can do to make them last longer?
What brand/parts would you recommend. Is there anyone in South you can point me to. (pm name/contact #)
Thanx in advance! |

| seems you full your coolant straight to the top passing the full mark and when the coolant expands it has no where to go but thru the overfolw in the bottle |

Anil hear this problem..
QG15 from rest to about 40kph pullin dead. at higher speeds its ok.
its similar to how a distributor engine with retarded timing pulls. even at rest when the accellerator cable is pulled the engine pick up is noticably slow, again like retarded timing but then its a QG so go figure.
it is also burning lots of gas.
i currently get code P0335 (crankshaft sensor) on the MIL and it returns within seconds of being reset.
crankshaft sensor changed (yet it is still giving the damn crankshaft code)
O2 sensor changed
fuel filter changed
FPR and fuel pressure checked ok
TB cleaned and plugs changed
any ideas? |
