Ok guys...
I have yet another mind boggler for you...no auto shops have been able to figure it out...

So I replaced the 15" rims with 16s and went from 55 profile to 50 and kept the same 195 width.

My camber is off a bit...the back left wheel is a bit more out than the right side. The left back tyre touches the lip of the fender if I put even one person in the back. The right side doesn't.

I was told the shocks and springs are fine. Remember its only this one side that touches. Could it be the bushings? How to tell?...Waste enough time and $$ at various shops to check it and can't give me a sensible answer. One guy even told me its a manufacturer's defect??????

I didn't buy it

HELP Please

why is one rim sticking out further than the other?

switch the rear rims (left to right). If the problem switches also - the problem is the rim itself assuming all the tyres are the same size/type.

if the rims are switched, and the problem still exists on the original side, the problem may exist with the car itself. was it in any major accidents?

It's supposed to be stated on the rim. Most likely d rim has d wrong offset, dat wud cause it (d rim wud stick out. Sell d rims & buy rims with at least a +40mm offset

I have the same problem with my rear left wheel. When I pulled the carpet in the trunk, there it was. A weld line. Apparently it got hit with the last owner and the straightener put back the fender too much in. If I roll it I'll be fine tho. It's not that far off. Did you roll yours to see yet?

No i haven't rolled the fender yet. I wanted to make sure it wasn't the shocks or spring first. The previous owner say the car never get hit but he could be bullshitting me...I'll do what Sky did and check under the carpet in the trunk to see if there's any signs.

This really pissing me off...cause sometimes I have one person in the passenger and maybe a box of stuff in the trunk...so it touches...I'll check it guys thanks.

if all else fails
install a pair of x rubbers
i have heard alot of bad stuff about them , that they ent good
i still play harden an install them ,
since i put them in , i have no probs
the x rubbers are placed between the spring
all u need is 1 per spring ,
each would cost u about $12
if the front good , just put in the back , an u good to go

Check the rocker arm bushings to see if they are busted, worn or "waked" out from the housing. Upgrade to a pair of energy suspension less side to side movement
