To say that the promotional company took the money and run is WRONG... it is the responsibility of TTASA to collect and disburse a portion of the proceeds towards the development of mospo.... If TTASA then ALLOWS the company to do as they please... don't go blaming the company... blame the people IN CHARGE of mospo.
BTW... 3 decades + of TTASA rule and they supposed to develop mospo... umm... does TTASA have grandstands or even a timing system of their own ? Or they still borrowing from the 'evil promotions companies' ?
I wonder if some of the questions posed will be on the agenda ? |

Well I actually learned somthing listening to this programme. Jameer admitted that TTASA did not want to be promoters/organisers (he agreed that this is not TTASA's role) .... but said they 'had to' because TTASA needed funds. And all this time I thought they were in it just for the money!  |

that's 100% correct
..
for those who tritely say 'let autosport control drags'......& ask in the same breath 'where the development?'........
the answer is 'The monies for development has gone into 'private' pockets.....
...
IMO,promotion companies can NEVER control a motor racing discipline..........rather, that discipline's organisation (be it TTRC, TTKA, etc) is the EMPLOYER of that promotion company for whichever event applies.... ..
so don't knock TTASA for putting things right NOW...unless yr an 'autosport'
