MOTOCROSS BLASTS OF AT CARLSEN FIELD - ALL NEW TORMATT
MOTOCROSS TRACK - MARCH 9TH

The 2008 National Championship Series starts this coming Sunday 9th March at an all New Motocross Track in Carlsen Field built by The Off Road Motorcyclist Association of Trinidad and Tobago (TORMATT). The half Kilometre track is fast and will prove both challenging and exciting for the riders. There are four classes of riders ranging from age 6 to 46 years old, from peewee bikes to full blown 450 cc motocross bikes. The top riders are expected to put on a great show for the race fans. The shorter circuit means races will go for as many as 25 laps to cover the same distance as last year's Indian Trail course. This will make for exciting racing.

Many riders have acquired the latest new race machines. Kris Maingot will be on an all new Yamaha YZ250 4-stroke, while Christian McKenzie has a brand new Honda CRF450. In the smaller riders, Mini Motocross Champ, Josh Galt, will ride an all new Honda CRF150. A veritable pocket rocket.

The new track is open all week for practice, and on Sunday 9th will open for Practice at 9:00 am. First Race will start at Noon. Directions to the track is fairly simple. Take the Calrsen Field Exit of the Uriah Butler Highway and head East. At the 1st T-Junction, turn right. At the Second and third T- Junction turn left. Then about 1 km down the road, veer right at the fork in the road and you're there.

Don't miss the exciting opening to the 2008 Motocross Season.

My boss is heavily involved in this. They got the piece of land to use FOR FREE. And got lots of sponsorship to help prepare it.

Amazing what a united front can get you.

His two children compete actively with two little KTM bikes.

Issues between TORMATT and Woods & co dawg....

the kind of issues that will always keep the sport in it's segregated state...
