mods for accent engine

yea hyundai 2nrs!! ah have d stock 1.5 sohc 12v engine in my 2000 model accent!! wa mods u'lll think i cud do to get my car up in the 140 hp bracket????? i won't mind stickin hyundai and once prices to do some mods are reasonable then i would do it in an instant!! lend me sum advice plz fellas!! plus anyone kno where i cud get ah gearbox fuh d accent..i sure those reaalllllllllllllllll rare!!

what area yuh from.... there is a guy in the freeport area that might be able to help with the gear box... as far as mods go have to get the accents fellas advice for this.

No matter what anyone tells you, DO NOT put turbo or anything like that into that engine! The Hyundai scoupe and the Accent has the identical engine, the only difference with the two is that the Scoupe's engine is equipped to handle turbo. You can get one of those engines if you want your Accent to fly. The 2003 Elantra engine will also fit.
