over on the Teamswift.net Forum this 6 year long project has been going on which entailed completely gutting a Mk. 1 Swift GTi, and building a tube chassis to hold the G13B reoriented to RWD. Extensive modification was undertaken to get this project where it is today! At the heart of it is the famous little 1.3L DOHC engine that could make 355HP with Boost!
Specs are;
Stock bore and stroke.
Forged 8,5:1 pistons
Pauter forged rods
Custom cams, 270 degree duration, unsure about lift
Saab 9-3 valves with guides, 2 mm larger than stock G13B
Volvo 850 Lifters (not hydraulic)
Ported cylinder head
Knife edged crank
M12 bolts for cylinder head and crank
Piston cooling jets
Girdle made in airplane quality aluminium
Custom made intake and exhaust manifold
Garret GT2871R
Engine is 100% balanced
660cc injectors
Bosch 040 fuel pump
Adjustable cam gears
VEMS ECU
4 MSD 8245 ignition coils
Chek the original Teamswift.net Link for more pics & tonnes of info! (imagine if some builds on Tuner can go as peacefully as this one has, lol)
