| Good drive by Webber and Hamilton.. Who would have thought a 'new' team like Brawn GP would have taken the constructors championship.. Well done to Button as well, he fought hard for the championship.. |

Honda practically abandoned their 2008 car/season to design the 2009 one.
Worldwide economic crisis hit.
Honda pulled out of F1 (who had already developed a kickarse car).
Brawn buys HondaF1 and gets Mercedes engine contract.
Ferrari/McLaren are all a year behind Brawn because they had to focus all their money/time/parts etc on their 2008 cars cuz of the Hamilton/Massa WDC battle.
rest is history. |

You can't be so sure that's all Honda design in that Brawn Car.. remember alot changes in a car once you use a different engine (i.e. Merc).. Brawn put alot into that car to get it working imo.. an yes, Brawn GP is a new team..
Brawn is a monster in Formula 1 yes.. |
