after this race I mos def backing Rubens for the word championship
Button sadly proving he does not have what it takes.... *sigh*
Would love to see Vettel drive for the Red team....that might be enough to see me dust off that old red flag......... |

yunno what I cyar stand with allyuh this "put in cupboard" mentality that exists...

um............I always suppported Rubens, even as he supported the nasty german
I would support Vettos but Rubio has a better chance this year
My ideal team would be Vettos in the red car |

Weren't you the same guy who said "Vettel WHO" a couple o' pages back (when I mentioned he was someone to watch out for)?
Vettel has the potential to be a world champ I dare say.....with the right car, and some more experience to improve his consistency (think about how many times he aces qualifying, yet can't deliver during the race).

Probably......but that depends on how well Ferrari's able to cope with the upcoming seasons. This year's proven that the proper R&D, and lucky design on an F1 car can make a winner out of a "once" lack-lustre team.
He might be a good option for Mc Laren like Hamilzai pointed out (assuming Kimi dumps F1 and goes WRC that is). Other than that....I'd love to see S.V in a Red car.

Gotta admit he's a good driver. Still say he's not as gr8 as Alonso or Kimi, but....it's the whining/complaining/etc etc that make so many folks dislike him. |

^^ he needs to learn no "table manners" Hammie is who he is.......if the man does whine/complain then let him..that doesnt take away from his talent..//schumi lacked Pit manners or manners when talking to other drivers that put him out a race, but that didtn take away from the great talent that he is. So allyuh doh come with "track side" behaviours...we talking what does happen on the track.
Thing is.....and lets switch it up....(i like Hamilzai BTW..hehehehehe)....lets put Hammie is a Brawn car...or any car that performs on par with a red car (seeing that allyuh basin this ting on a good car + good driver) and lets see how that works...

Vettel is the same now as Massa was in his Sauber days...lightning quick over one lap but until Ferrari groomed him he couldn't deliver in a race...
Hami is a good driver...i've said it before and i'll continue saying it...what he's not is a great driver...he rarely has the ability to step it up a gear, and his performance is based almost entirely on his car's performance...when the McLaren is competitve, he is...when its not, you don't see him fighting the other cars for a 5th place finish...
As for him being annoying off the track...so is Alonso, but you don't hear people complaining as much...the difference is if Alonso is asked to pass, he will damn well try, while Hami will quicker b!tch about his car not being fast enough to do it...
I'd prefer Vettel to win over Rubens because he's taken risks and had the ability to pull them off...Rubens and Button merely drive their car from start to finish and let their position reflect the team's performance that weekend... |

Seriously though, yes you're right.....I guess every driver has their quirks....and Hammie has his. Ultimately, he does have a great story, and he's lived the dream of many auto-fanatic.....from a young age too.
As for Hams in a Brawn.....bah.....I dunno. Maybe similar results? I'd like to see Hammie in a Renault (well....not the renault Red Bull that is).

I agree I think Rubens is more deserving of the title than Button, the old guy is really giving it his all..
But Vettel and Red Bull are on the charge looking to take the glory away from the Brawns.

Win races back to back.
Show genuine emotion after winning races.
Speak proper understandable English.
Be consistently faster than his team mate in both qualifying and races.
Be in the minority in F1 and still not hold it against anyone while shouting into the mics "is because ah black!!"

Name 1 thing that Alonso's done that a driver in a similar powered car couldn't,
besides trying to crash out his teammate that was on his way to a maiden WDC
I'm not a Hammie fan but the way alyuh talk about the man you swear he never won a championship and that he haven't won a race in years.
As far as i recall hammie won F1 races in his first, second and third season
And as this year's WDC goes, neither Button nor Barrichello should win since Brawn has dropped the ball on development.
Both Ferrari and McClaren developed there 2008 cars till the last race, Brawn on the other hand came out with a winning Car and said yes all the work done.
Ah backing Vettle all the way (the man have no more engines for the season and even when leading the race trading fast lap with his teammate in the last few laps of the race. More Fire! |
