Oh how lucky is hami...first got a break with his pitstop at the safety car period...then the cars in front of him taking themselves off lol...
Congrats to Brawn racing, but reality is gona hit them like a ton of bricks when this diffuser issue is sorted out...
Also, i fail to see how Barichello is still in this race after causing the bad accident at the start then going into the back of Kimi and pushing him out of the way... |

what a race.. hats off to the Brawn-Mercedes team on first and second and to Toyota's Jarno Trulli in third (who started from pit lane )
Disappointment for some of the teams as well as drivers, that Kubica-Vettel incident especially |

| ^The ferraris started strongly...did quite well keeping 3rd and 5th for awhile...then Rubens damaged Kimi's car and Massa eventually had to retire with a problem, but like the RBR they showed that they are closer to the front than people thought they would be... |

He gonna be even luckier if the three diffuser teams are deemed illegal! 4th 1st |

Martin Whitmarsh, Team Principal
“Today was one of those days on which Lewis demonstrated very clearly just what a fantastic racing driver he is. Throughout the race he showed great speed and tenacity, tempered when necessary by commendable patience. The car we supplied him wasn’t as competitive as we’d have liked it to be – we’ve made no secret of that – but we’re working flat-out, night and day, to improve it. The points Lewis scored today are of course very welcome – and, as and when we regain our form, we hope they’ll take on a greater significance still. As for Heikki, he started with a heavy fuel-load and could also have scored points today – but, sadly, and blamelessly on his part, his race was ended early on when he happened upon an incident involving two other cars. Lastly, well done to all at Brawn GP – and of course also to Mercedes-Benz, whose superb engines powered the first three cars.”

first two, and their performance had alot more to do with the diffuser than the engine... |

Kubica is a great driver but he could have shown much more patience with his attempt to overtake Vettel.
Sebastien Buemi is a surprisingly fast rookie |

We'll see if that holds true, as Barrichello insisted that his diffuser was broken in the rear and his car was still very fast... |

i guess the FIA rule changes did make the sport more exciting, alot of overtaking and the performance diff with the two tire compounds added to the drama.
i like it |
