there are just as much install shops

there are less than 100 who are really qualified but it does not mean they dont know what they are doing

and then there are quite a lot who feel they know what they are doing

what do you need to know?

there are as SR said many installers in trinidad, but you only hear about the big named ones due to their installs featured in carshows.

but if you think about it, any electrician is an installer if the person buys a prebuilt box. and they usually let the customer decide on tuning (everyday installs not for the enthusiast)
