Hey guys as suggested by my buddy 16cycles we should start a thread with FAQ's on the Legacy.
We should discuss it here then open an official thread with the question and answers...
What you guys think?
We would need everyone’s participation even the silent ones... |

^ thanks for starting it Flex
couple things i myself would like to know....
1. Chassis code designation for the different yrs.
e.g. pre-2001 wrx designation gc8, post 2002, GDA/GDB
2. what do the small changes in code mean? e.g. how to distinguish between sedan and legacy - saw a pretty humurous example in this thread.
3. Minor differences in suspension set-ups / tyre size.
4. where to find the codes to tell the differences?
5. same follows for different engines / gearbox set-up
6. trim - what to diff trim codes mean?
7. what does japanese on radio mean? even simple stuff like that to help each other
feel free to add and populate the data - can compile at a later date once all ironed out here.
thanks |

It was aight.......story line could have done with some work but it is action packed from start to finish. What i like though is that it got right in to the movie. There were no long build ups. I never really got bored..

Ok maybe he really did not know but it's still a vague question.
Q: What's an accelerator?
A: Ref. to a car
The pedal you mash to make the car move either backwards or forward in a faster motion.
Ref. to downloading
SpeedBit Video Accelerator on average doubles and in some cases quadruples the streaming speed and throughput from sites such as YouTube, resulting in a smooth viewing experience with no picture freezes.
Ref. to Atoms
A particle accelerator (or atom smasher, in the early 20th century[1]) is a device that uses electric fields to propel ions or charged subatomic particles to high speeds and to contain them in well-defined beams. An ordinary CRT television set is a simple form of accelerator. There are two basic types: linear accelerators and circular accelerators.
Unlicensed Nuclear Accelerator

Hey guys this is my good friend in Forte Lauderdale (Florida) and he is into aftermarket parts and servicing.
He is out on a challenge to prove the importance of changing oil and tuning up on time.
Toyota told him that they would consider giving him a new car if he accomplishes his goal (500000miles +) without any parts being change other that tune up parts.
He has now reached 570000km (354000miles) in 3 yrs and going strong.
And we trini does find a car over 100000km old and run down. He has proven that once well maintained mileage is secondary…
Keep up the good work on your car guys…

^^^^^^^ We have just over 20 legacys in the group out of that 5 are wagons.
I bought a wagon because it suited me perfect for what I wanted: Luxury, A/T, Sport, Speed and Space.
The sedans are very good too; I suppose it comes down to which appearance you prefer.
The only difference is the wagon has more space and very convenient if you have kids an move around with stuff occasionally... |

Wagon has bigger sunroof if you into that, and have better transport space.
Sedans are quieter, better aerodynamics and supposed to handle better(although you will probably never notice the difference).
And about the high mileage being a bad thing in Trinidad, I think it's simply because it is known that most people do not maintain their cars well. Also with our roads you are almost guaranteed suspension issues with high mileage. Just what I think. |
